Hello
everyone,
I would
like to show you 7 different cards created with only one stamp set Holly Days by Hero Arts. These stamps are so unique
and you can create stunning cards with different looks
This blog
post is also my entry for Hero Arts Holiday Cardmaking Challenge. Please
check out the amazing entries there
Let´s start
because I have 7 cards today :)
CARD No.1 -
Merry Kisses
My first
card is classical Christmas card in modern design
I have created
this cute little bow using Paper Smooches Baby Bow die and some red felt with a
touch of gold glitter paper
In real
life this card is super sparkly. I have heat embossed the image with Sparkle embossing powder by Hero arts and combined it with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens.
I used Soft Jade and Holly Leaf for the leaves and Red Berry for the berries.
Three star
sequins is all you need for your embellishment when your card is so sparkly.
CARD No.2 -
Happy Holly Days
Again
classical motive with modern twist. I have used the mistletoe and holly branch
to create this pattern.
I colored
these branches again with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens collection called
Winter Warmers. This time I have embellished
my little red berries with generous coat of Glossy Accents by Ranger.
I wish I
could catch the beautiful shine from these markers better on my photos
CARD No.3 -
Merry Kisses & Christmas Love
My first
two cards were in traditional winter Christmas colors, but I love to create
non-traditional Christmas cards as well.
I wanted to
emphasize the sentiment on this card which combines two stamps from the set. I
really needed some color so I have ink-blended my background with Wilted Violet Distress Ink by Ranger. This is such a great color. No masking needed while
creating this pattern, just take your time while blending the color.
My little
berries are shiny and sparkly. Here are the names of Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens
I have used: Cosmos, Rose Quartz and Amethyst. Again coated with Glossy
Accents.
CARD No.4 -
Peace & Joy
I love the
combination of blue and gold. In my opinion it´s so festive and perfect for
Christmas season.
My
beautiful shiny blue leaves were created with 3 Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens -
Moonstone, Aquamarine and Starry Sky.
Little
berries were colored with Gansai Tambi Starry Colours, shade called Blue Gold.
I put Glossy Accents on the top of them again.
CARD No.5 -
Peace, Love, Joy & Merry Christmas
It might
look difficult to create my next cards but trust me - it´s not.
Creating
your own stamped background is one my favorite techniques. You just stamp and
all of a sudden you have your own unique design paper
There are
matching dies for this stamp set but I don´t have them so I just cut the little
poinsettia by myself with scissors. I have embellished the card with little red
jingle-bell, red´n´white bakers twine and two red sequins.
CARD No.6 -
Merry Christmas
Of course
you can color the images with any medium you have at home.
I have
colored the next card with my copic markers.
This time
you have to cut out the pines from masking paper to create this scene. You will
need Memento Cottage Ivy and Bamboo Leaves inks if you would like to
replicate this card.
I have
stamped the pines with Memento Rich Cocoa Ink and colored them with following
copic markers: E21, E23, E25
Gold heatembossed sentiment matches with gold sequins used for embellishment.
This is
very traditional look, so I used some natural bakers twine to go with the look.
CARD No.7 - Noel
My last
card is super clean and simple and SUPER EXTRA glittery :)
I love the
vintage feeling of this stamp set but I really want to create fresh and modern
cards.
First I
planned to colored these branches but they look amazing just the way they are
... and if
you are in doubt, use some gold glitter and every problem will be solved
immediately :)
I have used glitter paper on my background as
well as this amazing wood veneer by Docrafts
And that´s
all my crafty friends for today :)
I hope you
liked my cards. If you do, please leave me a comment.
Until next
time here at my blog,
Happy
Stamping :)
